Sk:n Brightening & Firming Eye Cream

This eye cream by Sk:n is one of two in my skincare routine. It is difficult for me to remain loyal to using eye creams because I have yet to see any benefits from them (which I guess is sort of the point) - I keep an eye cream in my routine for the sake of doing so, but I do not use it as regularly as I probably should.

I scoured Boots for a good nourishing eye cream and spotted Sk:n Brightening & Firming Eye Cream on the shelf. I am not too familiar with the brand but after scanning through the ingredients list, the presence of Niacinamide (Vitamind B3) prompted me to purchase. I suffer from pigmentation, and the ingredients I usually look out for in eye creams (and skincare in general) are Vitamic C and Vitamin B3/Niacinamide; both of which help to reduce their appearance. After watching Lisa Eldridge's incredibly informative videos on the subject of eye creams (here & here) I now also look out for Licorice Extract, Kojic Acid, Arbutin, and Sophora.

The eye cream comes in a little plastic pot with a screw on lid. The design is very simple and almost clinical.

The eye cream iteself is good. It has a very creamy texture that doesn't feel heavy on the skin. It doesn't irritate my eyes, and keeps the general area well hydrated. Sometimes I worry richer eye creams can cause milia, but I haven't noticed any changes to my skin (positive or negative) since I began using this, which is fine.. for now at least.
